With more and more people losing their jobs, or considering getting a second job in order to pay the bills, it is no wonder that people are searching online for money making ideas.  The problem is, there are places online that just want to make their own money by preying on and scamming people who are desperate to find another way to generate an income.  When you’re looking online for such opportunities, always think to yourself “Is this too good to be true?”  As the saying goes, it probably is too good to be true… always trust your gut instinct.  Fortunately though, there are some great ways to be able to make some money online.  This isn’t an exhaustive list but hopefully it will help you to be able to get started finding something that you might like doing.

1) Writing articles for others is a great way to make money online.  There are a few different ways to go about doing this.  Either you can do it as a freelancer or you can sign up at websites that will pay you to write money.  Each of them has their benefits, but unless you are able to market yourself, it is usually easier for people to sign up at a website.  You’ll be able to pick topics to write on, and then you submit it for money.  It is that simple.

2) Filling out surveys to earn money is definitely a legitimate way to earn some extra cash.  You have to be careful though, because there are a lot of scammers in this arena.  Do not ever pay someone or some company for a list of places to take surveys online.  Just use the search engine and browse around until you can find a free list of companies.  Your information is valuable and companies will pay good money for your opinions on products, your shopping habits, etc
